Madison Chock and Evan Bates new free dance

Recently Madison Chock and Evan Bates announced their free dance for the upcoming season. They are first of the medalists of 2015 World Championship who told about their music choice. They made an announcement after they have showed it at Champs camp, so we can be sure that the dance was approved by US Federation.

Their free dance will be to Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2. The choreographer is Antonio Najarro.

I think it’s very ambitious choice of music. This is the music for the champions. From this choice I can say that this is serious bid for gold. As for the choreographer, It’s really unpredictable choice. Antonio is famouse among figure skaters for his spanish dances, but what he can create for the classical piece?
