Alena Kostornaia announced in her Telegram channel that she will miss a significant number of competitions this season.
“Dear friends, keeping up with the Monday tradition – here’s a bit of sad news. As you know, I’ve had a serious illness, and full recovery requires much more time and energy than we could have anticipated. For this reason, we’ll have to skip a significant number of competitions.
But there’s good news too! I am undergoing rehabilitation and restoring my health under the supervision of doctors, who have allowed certain activities and time on the ice.
Thank you for your support and belief in us with Gosha. We look forward to the moment when we can meet you at competitions and perform our programs at full strength. Meanwhile, as I continue to restore my health, you can always enjoy our skating in shows,” Kostornaia posted.
