Shoma Uno appeared on the Nippon Television show, revealing his life after turning professional skater. Here’s a translation of his comments.
Regarding his active skater days, he said, “I lived a life not typical of an athlete, sleeping at any time I liked, eating what I liked, and playing games as much as I liked.” Regarding food, he also revealed that he hates vegetables so much that “I can’t remember ever eating vegetables.”
In addition, he also talked about the work he wanted to try in the future. Uno confessed that he would continue to focus on figure skating as “nothing will change about doing skating as a professional skater”. He joked about playing games for 8 hours a day, “It would be nice if I could mainly play games”, while expressing his desire to take up new challenges.
