Choreographer Adam Solya told MatchTV about his work with Georgian single skater Anastasia Gubanova on her new programs for the upcoming season. Here’s a translation of his comment.
“Anastasia is an incredible athlete who combines both artistry and technical prowess in figure skating. She recently came to Belgium to work on new programs.
Both the music and choreography are vastly different from anything she has done before. We have incorporated new elements of movement, body movements, and artistic expressions that are unique and innovative.
We spent long and intense hours on the ice, dedicated to creating and refining these new programs. Anastasia was very open to exploring new ideas and approaches to body movement and forms, which made our collaboration very fruitful, filled with joy and mutual respect,” said Solya.
