Russian figure skater Sofia Titova will join the Armenia team.
According to “Match TV”, the 15-year-old athlete has received a release from the Russian Figure Skating Federation (RFSF).
Titova is a winner of the Russian Grand Prix stages among juniors and a prize-winner of the Moscow championship. She trains at the Evgeni Plushenko academy.
But the Armenian Figure Skating Federation has not confirmed yet the transition of Sofia Titova.
‘Our federation has no information on Titova’s change of citizenship. We know nothing about this,’ said the president of the Armenian Figure Skating Federation, Melania Stepanyan, in a comment for Metaratings.
