Adam Siao Him Fa shared his opinion on possible rule changes in the interview with Sport Graphic Number Web. He also shared his intention to work on quad axel. Here’s a translation of his comments.

Adam shared asked his opinion on possible rule changes. There is a proposal to reduce the number of jumps in the free from seven to six which will free up around 15 seconds. “The free program is mostly jumps and jumps, so we didn’t have time to show the real choreography apart from the step sequence. So, this might be a good thing.”

He was also asked whether he has any plans to learn new elements, “I’m practicing the quadruple axel. Actually, I’ve been practicing it since I was around 18 but stopped due to a bad fall that injured my ankle. However, now I understand how to prepare for it, so I think I can do it, though it may take some time.”

Commenting on the interviewer’s prediction that it seems likely that the battle at the 2026 Olympic Games will be between Malinin, him, and the Japanese men, Adam said “They are good rivals who have competed together since the junior days and have pushed each other. I was particularly inspired by Ilia who I had the opportunity to practice together with during ‘Art On Ice.'”
