Tatiana Tarasova commented on the statement by the head of USADA regarding Kamila Valieva’s doping case.
Travis Tygart, the CEO of the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), referred to the proceedings of Kamila Valieva’s doping case in the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) as a “travesty.”
“The hearing for Valieva’s case was postponed in September – why didn’t he write about it earlier? What is he suggesting? Where is the justice – to pardon Kamila or to bury her? But our athlete, unfairly suspended from participating in competitions, has not competed in international tournaments for two years now. Doesn’t this seem unjust to him?
As for the medals, no one can get them, not only Americans but us as well,” said the Honored Coach of the USSR.
