How easy are you willing to compromise?
Evgenia Medvedeva: I can compromise for the sake of a common cause, but often I don’t like it. Especially when I believe I’m right. Because I have a strong character and generally, I don’t make compromises.
Are there any examples from your career? For instance, you came up with a new program and you said, “I want this, this is how it’s going to be.”
Evgenia Medvedeva: From my career, probably not. Because when you’re skating, you still have a boss – in our case, a coach, a choreographer, a second coach.
And now I’ve felt this power over my life and I sometimes love to argue, strongly object, and compromise for the greater good, but make it clear that I don’t like it.
What recent habits or interests have changed for you? What have you given up on or, conversely, introduced?
Evgenia Medvedeva: I have completely changing hobbies. Sometimes I return to them, sometimes I abandon them for a few years. Sometimes, I’m like this “Cross-stitching!” I’ll do half of it and then (gestures with her hand as if pushing it away – Sports.ru).
Is there any current hobby?
Evgenia Medvedeva: I’m putting together Lego now!
