Figure skater of the Georgian national team Karina Safina spoke about the breakup of their pair with Luka Berulava.
In 2022, Safina and Berulava won the Junior World Championships. This season they took 19th place at the senior World Championships in Saitama.
Karina Safina: Well… That is the end of this story. It wasn’t my decision, but I’m the first to tell it.
Everything has an end – sometimes it is happy, sometimes it is not. This story does not have a happy ending. That is life.
My cooperation with the team of Pavel Sergeevich (Slyusarenko) and Luka is over.
I am grateful to each of you for this path and invaluable experience, although it was not long and radically different.
This is the end of just one chapter of my life, and that’s it. I turn the page and start a new chapter
And yes! I continue my career. Getting back in shape and looking for a partner.
