State of Russian ice dance drama [10.11.2017]
It’s Monday after Grand-prix, so grab your coffee and let’s check what happened in Russian ice dance.
99,99% that Bobrova Soloviev are not getting to GPF (however, this GP series is to unpredictable and everything can happen) so Dima is on vacation now.
Dima also reminds us that autumn is the time of rains with snow, cold winds and unpleasant flu. So it’s very important to dress warmly, don’t be lazy and get some prophylaxis and wishes us to be healthy.
This week Victoria and Nikita competed at NHK Trophy and we saw another classic Katsalapov moment.

From the ice dance I watched only Sinitsina/Katsalapov after reading this post- seems that situation is very sad in their team.
Sinitsina / Katsalapov team? Why? I mean Zhulin is probably not very happy with Katia and Dima’s scores (and fairly so) but Vika and Nik did very well at NHK, skated two clean(ish) programs and overall scored something like 2 points less than SB in Russia. They have no reason to be unhappy about and after disastrous last season they should be proud of themselves.
Yes,I agree scores were good,but the skating was not pleasant to watch, Viktoria and Nikita skated like not being pair, and that fall makes impression of mess. Costumes were awful. That’s just my personal opinion,like spectator, not understanding much about technical things. I meant only this team. After competitions in Minsk I don’t take them serious anymore.

No, really I hate their costumes. What a nightmare. And their costumes used to be so nice! Last season, and a season before… What happened? Did Nik’s mother stop choosing their outfits?
