Satoko Miyahara: short program for season 2016-2107 [video]

new programs for season 2016-2017

satoko

Satoko has already shown her new free program and now there’s a video of her new short program for upcoming season.

SP Musetta’s Waltz from Puccini’s opera La Boheme

Absolutely lovely program! Beautiful girl, in a beautiful dress skates to beautiful music – I think it’s definately one of the keys to success. The program is so nicely choreographed and allows Satoko to show her lines and musicality. I like that this season’s Satoko’s programs are completely different. Light, playful, romantic SP and dramatic FP. Good contrast. I always appreciate when skaters have programs in different styles.

And please, Satoko, keep this dress for competition, it’s so pretty! The dress is totally approved by fs-gossips)

I totally agree. Satoko’s looking as a cute little girl in this program. I also really like his overall style of skating, I always find her very different from the others. She’s my favorite female skater with Lipnitskaia :)

    • I think Satoko and her team know her advantages very good and use them as much as possible. She can’t amaze judges with high jumps, so they try to make everything else (steps, spins) on highest level and positive GOE. They also pay a lot of attention to the second mark, her programs looks very polished and refined. Her lines are gorgeous! I’m sure that Satoko spends a lot of time in choreography class to achive such level.

  2. This dress is stunning! And i think it makes her look not so tiny:)

    • She’s not tall, but she has nice feminine body, with visible waist and not too skinny legs. She doesn’t need to wear childish dresses, and this sky-blue dress suits her a lot and she looks like a young lady, not like a small girl.
