Elizaveta Tuktamysheva. Long may she reign

The strongest impression among all Russian ladies at the test skates made the reigning World champion Elizaveta Tuktamysheva. Her programs maybe not a revelation from choreo but they are solid and suit her a lot. I think it’s a perfect choice for her skating and personality on ice. Can’t wait to see those programs skated clean on competition.

Her jumps look secure and powerful and she will definitely improve during the season because it’s only September. Among ladies on the test skates she looked as undisputed number one of the Russian team.

Blak and red seem to be the colors of the season for Elizaveta. So, we can lost hope for bright colors for Tuktamysheva?

Usually I pay a lot of attention to skaters costumes, but Elizaveta can totally afford to wear what she wants, what she feels is comfortable. The main thing that she sells her programs for all 100%! I like the black dress for the short program. It has interesting design and looks amazing in movement. The belt is just great! But still hope for the dark green for the free program.
